From Birmingham I travelled to Cambridge to this historic university town, and I was not disappointed. I also was meeting with Kieran again, and also Kate Bull, a recently retired Paediatric Cardiologist, who has just written a book about the stories of Congenital Heart Disease
You can buy Kate's book, from Amazon.

There might even be a little bit about me, in the book...
Kate is an awesome person to be around, we had many laughs and Kate even took us punting on the River Cam

Kate gave me a copy of her book, personally signed. I'll treasure it forever |

On of my favourite photo's of the entire trip. Felt like we had been lifelong friends, and never really wanted the moment to end. It just meant so much. |
Cambridge had so many great buidlings, and Kate and Kieran really new their way around. We snuck into St Johns college, and did a walk through. Quite outstanding, and real sense of history. Probably not the best place to say I spent four years in standard four!

DO NOT STAND ON THE GRASS!!
So many beautiful lawns, yet an ostentatious outlook that has lasted for centuries, gives way to any use of the lawns other than to those privileged . So unless you are significant member of the university, or the groundsman. Keep off!!

In amongst all the history and pomp, was this students accommodation hall, in the open window was a young girl studying on her laptop. a little bit of reality. |

Loved the lines in these buildings. Incredibly built. |

These fullas were having some fun on the river. When Punting becomes paddling. |
Cambridge you are beautiful. I so enjoyed my stay. Thanks Kate for my book!
There is a small amount of rivalry between Cambridge, and Oxford. I think the best quote, was how each town, gained it's name. Cambridge was named after a beautiful bridge was first built over the river Cam. Oxford was named after a guy who smashed into a large cow, while driving an Escort Van.
